For Dial-up access, there are 3 options: Analogue, ISDN 64k & ISDN 128k.

For leased line access we offer ADSL accounts capping at 2 or 3 gig.

 

Analogue

Satcom Network is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) which utilizes both Internet Solutions and SAIX POP's (Points Of Presence) throughout South Africa. This ensures our clients a fast, reliable connection to the Internet at local call rates where ever you are in SA.

Clients use a PC with an analogue modem and a standard telephone line.

Requirements:

*A computer system running Windows , Linux or Apple Mac.
*A analogue modem.
*A telephone line. (Telkom / SNO)

ISDN

ISDN offers high speed digital dial-up connections which are much faster than a analogue modem connection. This service requires Telkom to install a normal ISDN Basic Rate (2 or 2a) interface at your premises.

Requirements:

* A computer system running Windows, Linux or Apple Mac.
* A ISDN modem.
* ISDN Basic Rate (2 or 2a) Interface. (Telkom / SNO)

ADSL

ADSL is the first point of entry to the leased line Internet environment. We offer ADSL accounts capping at 2 or 3 gig.

Requirements:

* A computer system running Windows, Linux or Apple Mac.
* An ADSL Router / Modem.
* ADSL Line. (Telkom / SNO)
